1. Who we are
Docyo is a documentation generation and hosting service operated by the Docyo team, based in Greece, EU. Contact: support@docyo.dev
2. What data we collect
- Your GitHub username, email address, and profile picture when you sign in with GitHub OAuth
- The names and URLs of GitHub repositories you connect to Docyo
- Documentation content you create, edit, and publish through the editor
- Usage data such as when you last viewed a doc and which features you use
- Payment information processed by Polar — we never store your card details directly
3. Why we collect it
- To provide the service — auth, doc storage, hosting
- To process payments through Polar
- To enforce plan limits and track feature usage
- To improve the product based on how it is used
4. Who we share it with
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
- Anthropic — your selected code files are sent to Claude to generate documentation. We do not send any data to Anthropic beyond what you explicitly select for generation.
- Polar — payment processing
- Vercel — hosting infrastructure
None of these providers sell your data.
5. Your rights under GDPR
Since we operate in the EU, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export your documentation content at any time
- Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

6. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Changes to this policy
We will notify users of significant changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
