Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance

By using Docyo you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Docyo provides

Docyo is a documentation generation and hosting platform. You connect a code repository or create a project, generate documentation using AI, edit it in our editor, and publish it to a hosted URL.

3. Your account

  • You must sign in with a valid GitHub account
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Docyo
  • One person per account — accounts are not transferable

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Docyo to:

  • Generate or publish illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or abuse the platform
  • Resell access to the service without permission
  • Use automated tools to abuse the AI generation feature beyond your plan limits

5. Your content

You own all documentation content you create on Docyo. By publishing docs you grant Docyo a license to host and serve that content to visitors of your docs URL. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. AI generation

Documentation generated by Claude (Anthropic) is based on code you provide. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of AI-generated content before publishing. Docyo is not liable for inaccurate documentation.

7. Payment and billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Polar
  • You can cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the billing period
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for losses caused by service downtime.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

10. Limitation of liability

Docyo is provided as-is. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece and the European Union.
